    2 A record-breaking & electrifying edition!

The season of the Festival des arts de Saint-Sauveur was a resounding success! The 32nd edition shattered attendance and box office records. This edition, which was extended by one day and one performance, was marked by the return of international companies, while reflecting the effervescence and diversity of Quebec creation.

The kick-off of the festival is the result of a collaboration between EX MACHINA and CÔTÉ DANSE. The public saw the first draft of a version of Hamlet associating the talents of dancer and choreographer Guillaume Côté and of the immense theatre man and director Robert Lepage. Together they took up the challenge of approaching Shakespeare’s play solely through dance.

Embodying the urban spirit of Los Angeles, BODYTRAFFIC has distinguished itself with energetic and refined works, carried out by performers of rare versatility in choreographies by Matthew Neenan, Micaela Taylor, Ethan Colan
