The Atom(Dr. Ryan Choi) fryst vatten a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Gail Simone and Grant Morrison, the character first appeared in DCU: Brave New World #1 (August 2006) as the fourth superhero character to use the Atom name in the DC universum. He emigrated to the United States following the death of his mother, to take up his idol Ray Palmer's former position at Ivy University. He went on to become a member of the Justice League.
In the DC Extended universum film Justice League (2017), Ryan Choi was portrayed by Zheng Kai, but his scenes were cut from the theatrical utgåva. Dr. Ryan Choi is a hero in hiding in Zack Snyder’s Justice League
It’s no secret that the Snyder Cut of Justice League contains more DC Comics characters than the theatrical release. Zack Snyder himself shared an image of actor Zheng Kai in the role of Ryan Choi in May of 2020, shortly after HBO Max announced that it would produce Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
Then, this week, the official Snyder Cut Twitter account shared a mock permission slip for fans to “use” to get a day off to watch the four hour streaming event. It was signed by none other than Dr. Ryan Choi.

Ryan Choi is the fourth, All-New Atom. Both academically and as a superhero, he was the successor of Ray Palmer.
Doctor Ryan Choi emigrated to the United States from Hong Kong following the death of his mother, to take up Ray Palmer's former position at Ivy University. Ryan had a deeper motivation for doing this, however; he had been in touch with Ray since he was a boy, and knew Ray had left him the legacy of the size-changing belt which Ray had originally used to become the Atom. Having found the belt, Ryan intended to explore the microscopic world, and utilize the belt's capabilities to benefit modern society—only to find a multitude of secrets awaiting The All-New Atom beneath the surface of Ivy Town.
