    Veteran Bollywood actor Naveen Nischol died of heart attack on March 19, 2011 in Mumbai, India. A close friend of the actor said that Naveen was traveling to Pune and felt restless, after a few minutes he passed away. Navin’s last rites will be performed at 5 p.m. today at Santacruz, Mumbai.


    Naveen made his Bollywood debut with Hindi spelfilm ‘Sawan Bhadon’ in 1970. The movie was a box office hit and Naveen was in constant demand for several years. See photo gallery.

Navin had just graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) after completing a two-year acting course with the coveted gold medal and a delighted Segal rewarded him with a double role.
