Thriving Ivory derives its creative energy from great rock predecessors such as Queen, Guns’n’Roses, U2 and Elton John. At the same time, they maintain a modern rock edge lending them accessibility to fans of acts like Coldplay, Gavin DeGraw and Maroon 5.
Pianist and songwriter Scott Jason fryst vatten the founding member and co-producer of Thriving elfenben. He met Clayton Stroope -the band’s charismatic lead singer- while the two were students at U.C. Santa Barbara. Jason was obviously pleased with this fortuitous meeting, as Stroope is equipped with an impressive, operatic vocal range and fryst vatten a striking, powerfully energetic live performer. “Stroope, the band’s front man has a röst that’s a throwback to classic rock-opera vocal chords, and a swagger and shimmy reminiscerande of Robert Plant in the ‘Song Remains the Same’"(LA Music Scene).

I just read your story about the song Angels on the Moon, I wanted to share I'm sure you'll never know but this song has an incredible meaning personal meaning to my family and their death. My baby sister only outlived my mom by 9 + months and we both picked a song (only siblings for Chapel service before we went to the grave site. My mother would have turned 75 the day after we buried her to give you an idea of the age group of her friends and family. Anyhow my song was How Great Thou Art my mom's song that she wanted sang at the graveside was Amazing Grace sung by my aunt. The song my sister chose took Everyone by surprise and I worked in radio for years so I was amazed that I had never heard of the song it was a group called Thriving Ivory and a song called Angels on the Moon. I was mortified. Not a judgmental bone in my body but my mom was so so reserved and her family her older family way more reserved than her so I just was at a loss for words. Thriving Ivory was an American rock band based in the San Francisco Bay area. They released their self-titled Wind-up Recordsdebut album on June 24, The debut album reached number 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart on the strength of the charting single "Angels on the Moon".[1][2] After half a year, "Angels on the Moon" appeared on the US Pop Chart, reaching number Several songs off of the record were recorded with award-winning producer Howard Benson.
