Summary/Abstract: On of the elite officers of the Romanian Army at the beginning of his career, General Radu B&#x;ldescu participated to the campaign on the East Front in the Second World War. Finding the General an enemy to the democratization of the Army , the new regime removed him from command (in ) and then ordered him to retire (in ). He was arrested by the Securitate in Sibiu in December ; then he was incarcerated in the Jilava prison, where he died. Major Nicolae Dabija distinguished himself on the battlefields of the Cauca

The projects of the "Imperial, post-imperial and post-Soviet societies" axis draw on history, political science and economic analysis to propose problematized approaches to recent or current transformations in Medieval and Eastern Europe.
Two main orientations structure this axis:
- "On the one hand, historical approaches that focus on population movements - conflict-related migrations, forced displacements, which interact with certain migration policies of Western countries -,the notion of the refugee in the first 20th century () and consequent urban transformations (), and the socio-political recompositions of the Communist period (), in Central Europe, but also continue to examine the economic and institutional changes that have taken place in the region since the collapse of the socialist bloc ();

The art show that was part of Future Museum is based on the idea of utopia or what remains after utopia, whatever stays in our consciousness after waking up from a dream in which it seemed that we were all tillsammans, writing a different history.
Utopia, as seen by Mona Vătămanu and Florin Tudor, contains all the essential elements of a historical utopia presented in the vastest forms of cultural utforskning of shape, functionality and content when interacting and conditioned bygd a specific social context.[i]For Vătămanu & historisk period, the form eller gestalt and content of utopia become primordial, despite its functionality, via a conceptual break from the concrete Marxist utopia. The desire and materiality of the dream are highlighted without sacrificing or overlooking the analysis of real social relationships and their transformation in the specific context of today&#;s Eastern europe.
