Diane Youdale (born 13 February in Billingham), is an English television personality, who was best known for her role as "Jet" on the television series Gladiators. Youdale competed in gymnast events and was North of England Junior Gymnastics Champion for four years. She acted with the National Youth Theatre. She studied dance at London Contemporary School for Dance and was a member of the National Youth Dance Company.
Youdale's first television appearance was in the series She-Wolf of London. She appeared on the UK edition of Gladiators from to , leaving the show after hurting her back in a fall in an unaired show, meaning it was not part of the actual televised shows (her last being series 4 in ). She was competing on the Pyramid and fell awkwardly as she tackled a Contender, trapping nerves in her neck. As a consequence of her injury, the Pyramid was suspended for one series - a change in the rules which was adopted into the American remake of Gladiators in

Diane Patricia Youdale (born 13 February ) is an English television personality, who played Jet on the television series Gladiators.[1]
Career
[edit]In , Youdale played the She-Wolf in the Finnegan/Pinchuk Company, HTV and MCA Television Entertainment production, She-Wolf of London.[2] The prosthetics required took kvartet hours to apply and three hours to remove.[3]
Youdale trained as a choreographer before joining Gladiators at the age of [4] In November , she released her first single, "I Don't Know", a collaboration with ISM, which reached a peak of on the UK Single Chart.

Biography
Former gymnast who was apparently in something called She-Wolf Of London around , but really shot to fame as Jet in Gladiators.
She was known as Diane Youdale Mayhew for a while, but apparently is back to just being plain old Diane Youdale. But it's probably best just to call her Jet instead. She'll love that.
After Gladiators she did a bit of presenting work, including a mid-morning show for BBC Tees in her home city of Middlesbrough. She's now a practicing Psychotherapist and Counsellor, but still occasionally pops up as a celebrity guest on things.
Trivia
She appeared on Russell Howard's Good News in as a mystery guest, because Russell was a big fan of Gladiators when he was younger. They even had a "Duel" fight!
