    Description

    Meriadoc Brandybuck, usually called "Merry", is the son of Saradoc Brandybuck and Esmeralda Took. He was born in Buckland in T.A. 2982. Merry is best friend of Peregrin Took, better known as "Pippin". Already in the Shire the two were notorious rascals, though never bad or wicked but rather curious and unthinking.
