Future nuclear engineers: U-M hosts high school students to explore careers

Last month, the University of Michigan hosted rising high school seniors eager to explore the field of nuclear engineering in the Harper Academy 4 Future Nuclear Engineers. The four-week residential schema helped students from diverse backgrounds prepare to study nuclear engineering in college and introduced them to career options in the field.
The core curriculum included nuclear engineering fundamentals, math and technical skills, design and community engagement, and college preparatory seminars. Students stayed in Bursley ingångsrum to experience life on a college campus.

It would be a very close decision, but I think Johns would not be tenured in my department. If the department did recommend tenure, I’m fairly certain that the college committee would deny tenure and the provost would support that committee.

As vice president, she was responsible for the services, programs, and facilities that supported all aspects of campus life for more than 41,000 students. Her legacy includes a nationally recognized intergroup relations program, a focus on research and assessment of student learning, establishing of a program for students in foster care that is unparalleled in the nation, and launching an adaptive sports program.
